This is the first book in the Krista Pompey saga. It is a story of a young black girl who has recently moved from Germany to America. Adjusting to new changes and demands is not easy. Out of the blue, something happens which completely transforms her world. Krista is given a challenge dealing with a gift which is bigger than herself. Luckily, she has her grandmother’s help, but is her grandmother’s help enough? This wonderous journey with Krista brings out the hidden human potential lying in all of us.
